The flat ducts meet with physical design specifications for void former. It is a very firm but yet light weight sheet metal tubing that without excessive deforming, withstands existing forces during the pouring of the concrete.

Approximately 40% weight can be reduced and favorable effect on foundation. With the concrete construction wall and slab thickness request, this flat duct is widely adopted in post tensioning industry.

 
Its special corrugations, high radial stiffness well adapted for use as void former in. It is also being used as culverts and forms for concrete pipes, plinths and columns, used to reduce the cross section area and thus the weight of the structure.

The spiral seam is tight and no water from the concrete will enter the tube. The normal sizes for the flat ducts is as following, 20x90mm, 20x80mm, 20x70mm, these three are the most popular in the present. Our latest machine also can produce size 40x80mm and 50x100mm
